Performed telecommunications audit for a rate-payer supported public agency with over 400 locations in two states. Annual spend of roughly $3,000,000 landline voice and data services including SCADA at over 400 locations across California and Nevada. Audit was done in cooperation with in-house technicians and telecom staff to insure highest level of accuracy. Due to the critical life safety nature of the agencies operations agency technicians were required to provide final validation of all change orders and disconnects.
Audit produced annual recurring savings going forward of $987,000 per year, representing a reduction of roughly 33% of the annual telecom expenses for the agency. Audit also produced $243,000 in one time refunds on past carrier billing errors and incorrect disconnect notices
